GIBB keeps the less-fortunate warm in Jeppestown

JEPPESTOWN – Engineering consulting company helps to keep the less-fortunate warm.

GIBB, a leading multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm, made a donation of blankets and socks to Mould, Empower, Serve, a non-governmental organisation in Jeppestown.

This was part of their annual winter sock collection drive.

With the winter season here, the GIBB staff and public rallied together by also providing cash donations to purchase winter essentials for various beneficiaries in the community the firm operates. South African personality and philanthropist Maps Maponyane was also part of the drive and donated socks.

“We see GIBB’s involvement with our beneficiaries as a partnership rather than an investment and through this, we hope to bring about a positive and tangible change in the livelihoods of these recipients,” said GIBB marketing and CSI practitioner, Yolande van Rooyen. She also said she hoped that the results of this drive will be felt for those in need – now and for the rest of the cold winter season.
