The Paint & Palette Group will host a combined art exhibition and competition for the month of June.
The event will be held in the place of the monthly art demonstration.
Community members are invited to the event on June 17.
The exhibition will include the works of Paint & Palette Group members.
It will be held from 2pm until 4pm in hall five of the Edenvale Community Centre.
Entrance to the exhibition is free of charge but there is a nominal charge to exhibiting members of the Paint & Palette Group.
Some of the paintings will also be for sale.
At the exhibition, a competition will be held to determine the top three paintings.
“This will run concurrently with the exhibition and a prize will be awarded to each of the three winners of the competition before close of the exhibition,” said Terry Baker, chairman of the Paint & Palette Group.
