Cleveland CPF creates awareness of violent acts against women and children

JOBURG – Residents are invited to attend Youth Month event at Cleveland Police Station.

 

The Cleveland Community Policing Forum in conjunction with Cleveland Police Station, Metro police and local security companies will host a Youth Month event at the police station on 24 June.

The purpose of the event, which starts at 9am and ends at 3pm, is to create awareness among the youth of the violent acts against women and children in the Cleveland policing area.

Assault, domestic violence, murder, abuse, rape and human trafficking will be the main topics discussed on the day. Community members of all ages are encouraged to attend the event.
