Security allegedly shot, dies

JOBURG – An alleged double murder sends shockwaves through a local security company.

 

Fidelity ADT is deeply saddened by the tragic murder of one of their reaction officers and another unidentified man.

The victims were shot and killed inside an ADT patrol vehicle on Main Reef Road in Denver on 12 May.

“We would like to send our sincere condolences to the families of both victims,” said Fidelity ADT managing executive, Stuart Clarkson.

The reaction officer was 34 years old and had worked at ADT for the last nine years.

The company said they still do not have any leads at the moment.

Cleveland Police Station’s spokesperson Captain Johan Jordaan urged people with any information to come forward. He said no one has been arrested in connection with the double murder.
