The annual Jeppe Highland Gathering will be taking place at Jeppe High School for Boys on 13 May.
Craig Holz, IT manager at PSA Group, invited residents to come and enjoy a festive family outing in the historic grounds of the oldest public school in Johannesburg, with entertainment provided by the competing pipe bands and Highland dancers.
“The day offers something for everyone, including fun activities for the youngsters and a craft market with a variety of foods and drinks on sale,” said Holz. The mass bands display takes place in the late afternoon, with hundreds of band members participating in an unforgettable spectacle of sound and colour.
