PRINT EXCLUSIVE: Criminals target paramedics and emergency services

The NEWS was granted exclusive access during the filming of a commercial at the South African Emergency Care in Modderfontein as part of a campaign.

Whilst trying to save lives, paramedics and other emergency services are often the target of criminals.

Setting up the right shot for the commercial was not a quick process. Director Donald Zastron took his time to ensure that the scene was set up correctly and portrayed the correct message.
A terrifying images that reflects what paramedics are often faced with when confronted by criminals. Often lives are at risk as paramedics are held at gunpoint when trying to save lives.
