Assumption places sixth

Assumption Convent finished second in its selected pool which resulted in the school competing in the Championship Section of the tournament.

Assumption Convent School recently participated in the St Andrew’s Netball Festival.

This year a total of 32 school competed in the event.

Schools were divided into four pools of eight schools.

Assumption Convent finished second in its selected pool, which qualified the school for the Championship part of the tournament.

Other schools competing in the championship were Edenvale High School, St Dunstan’s College, Kingsridge, Eunice, Krugersdorp, Pretoria Girls High and TWC.

Overall, Assumption finished sixth in the tournament,

Learner Marilyn Cilengi was nominated as the player of the tournament for the second year in a row.
