Winners of the Little Miss and Mr Sunshine Pageant announced

At the pageant, the 50 young contestants were all given an opportunity to impress the judges.

Mrs Africa Queen 2017, Mrs Tarryn Ogle together with the assistance of the Fresh2U Farmer’s Market, hosted the first Little Miss and Mr Sunshine Pageant.

The pageant was held in the gardens of the Frans Hoenig Haus alongside the morning market.

The money paid to enter a child into the pageant was donated to the Edenvale Child and Family Welfare Society

At the pageant, the 50 young contestants were all given an opportunity to impress the judges.

The three judges at the event were Kayla Veretnik (Miss Junior Edenvale and Miss Teen Gauteng), Daniella Ribeiro (Miss Teen Social Entrepreneur 1st runner up and Dignity Dreams Ambassador) and Semone Skosan (Mrs SA 2016 Finalist and Mrs SA Public Choice 2016/2017).

The winners of the various categories were as follows:

Little Miss Sunshine winner was Naledi Phello (7 years old).
Little Mr Sunshine winner was Xander Swanevelder (3 years old).
First princess was awarded to Tianca Olivier (6 years old).
Second Princess was awarded to Jenny McMaster (7 years old).
The prize for most confident went to Zahara Iqbal (7 years old) and
The prize for best smile went to Chloe van Buuren (3 years old).

Every contestant was given the opportunity to impress the three judges.
