Father Joseph Leathem, of St Thérèse Parish in Edenvale, was awarded the Danny and Domitilla Hyams Award.
The award acknowledged Father Leathem’s contributions and influence at Little Eden over the past 50 years
The award was handed over by Mr Peter Mannix, financial manager of Little Eden, during the society’s first Friday Holy Mass celebration.
Ms Nichollette Muthige, the public relations and communications officer of Little Eden, said over the years Father Leathem had provided constant support to the society.
Every first Friday of the month he celebrates Holy Mass, which is attended by a group of residents from Little Eden and members of the public.
