The Jeppe High School for Boys elite athletics team was recently invited to compete at the Top 10 TUKS championship in Pretoria.

On the day Lesedi Moloto not only came first in the U/14 long jump, he broke the record with a distance of 6.41m.

He also achieved a third place in the U/14 100m hurdles with a time of 13;73.

Andiswa Mndebele achieved first place in the U/14 300m hurdles with a time of 41;24, as well as second place in the U/14 100m hurdles in a time of 13;59.

Mzwakhe Mashaba came first in the U/15 3 000m with a record breaking time of 9:06.

He also ran in the 1 500m race where finished fifth.

Hankug Tae Joo achieved first place in the U/16 triple jump with his jump of 12.59m.
