Fun, sun and good times were the order of the day for the English and French Bulldog Rescue South Africa’s (EFBRSA) first annual picnic.
The picnic, which took place at Gillooly’s Farm on March 4, saw a variety of dogs and owners attending.
Ms Stacey van Rooyen from EFBRSA said the picnic was held to raise funds so that the organisation can construct a sanctuary for the bulldogs they assist.
Currently the organisation makes use of foster homes.
She said EFBRSA assists bulldogs and other dogs across South Africa that have been abused or abandoned.
