Edenvale traffic came to a standstill as the area was again flooded following the afternoon’s rains.
Debris at the 6th Avenue Bridge hindered the flow of water.
Edenvale Community Police fFrum chairperson Ms Linda McKenzie said when it was still raining heavily, the bridge was submerged in water.
On Edendale Road, a blocked stormwater drain resulted in water flooding the road causing havoc for motorists.
