The Community Policing Forum in Malvern plans to march to the local police station on 25 March to hand over a memorandum outlining its crime-fighting strategy.
Cleveland falls under Ward 118, and the march is aimed at highlighting to local police the upsurge in crime in the area.
The CPF has compiled a list:
- Women and children abuse, rape and domestic violence
- Hijacking of cars, trucks and property
- House and business armed robberies
- Drug and alcohol abuse
- House and business burglaries
- Dumping on street corners and in parks
- Early pregnancies, school dropouts, illiteracy
- Corruption
- Theft and bribery.
