The Bishop Bavin rowing team recently participated in the VLC Regatta.
The school’s rowing team returned home with gold, silver and bronze medals.
Anda Makaulule and Khanya Gabela were awarded gold medals in the U/14B quad event.
Michael Goncalves and Phumelele Tshabalalal received gold medals in the U/14B quad event as well as silver medals in the U/14A double event.
Josephine Lambert, Runako Kanengoni, Ebenezer Mthethwa and Keamogetswe Khumalo each received a silver medal in the U/14B quad event.
Naledi Mbatha was awarded a silver medal in the U/14B quad event as well as a bronze medal in the U/14B sculls event.
Brendan Stapelberg and Callum Muller each returned home with a bronze medal in the Men’s B double event.
Carmen Luckemeyer was awarded a gold medal in the Women’s C double event and a silver medal in the Women’s C sculls event.
