115 years for St Andrew’s

Learners from Grade 00 to Grade 12, parents, staff and guests attended the event.

St Andrew’s School for Girls recently celebrated the school’s annual Founders’ Day.

Learners from Grade 00 to Grade 12, parents, staff and guests attended the event.

The St Andrew’s community sat on the tea lawns beneath the backdrop of the historic Bedford Court in celebration of the school’s 115th birthday.

Mrs Bev van Niekerk, the Junior School Headmistress, and Mrs Gill Jeffrey, the Senior School Headmistress, were inducted by Rev Errol Dengler; and thus a brand new chapter in the history of St Andrew’s has begun.

The birthday cake was cut by Head Girl Veruschca Labuschagne, and the school’s youngest Grade 0 girl, Georgia Iorio.

A memorable day was enjoyed by all.
