Support for new mothers

FOURWAYS – Now there's a place where first-time moms can interact with other first-timers.

Bub Hub & Company is a new concept where parents, especially new mothers or mothers-to-be, can spend quality time with their newborns, learn more about parenting and enjoy a support network.

It is designed to help make the birthing and baby care process easier for mothers and families. The concept aims to encourage and support moms and dads in a non-intimidating, relaxed environment. It was created for parents to share a journey of nurturing, bonding and well-being for them and their babies.

The courses offered by Bub Hub & Company are friendly and informal with a focus on providing an invaluable support network for the early days of parenthood while receiving up-to-date, reliable and honest information. Bub Hub provides a safe space where mothers from the community can get together, share their stories and experiences while enjoying coffee and tea.

These are some of the interacting activities which Bub Hub offers:

  • Granny mornings: Grannies come for a morning to bond with their grandchildren
  • Babes and biltong: Dads-only mornings with his baby
  • In-house photographer
  • Baby reflexology workshops.

The concept was created by two sisters, Delia Hooke and Tara Kitching, when one of the sisters was diagnosed with cancer and infertility, but fell pregnant naturally. The sisters and new mothers of two boys started their journey and have managed to franchise four other studios since then.

“We would recommend that all new expecting and new parents join one of our Bub Hub Tribes. We have a class for every stage of baby growth, where moms and dads get valuable information and help from our experts,” said the sisters.
