If you have been to any of the liquor store’s wine festivals, you will know that the event is nothing short of fabulous and entertaining.
You can expect over 40 wines, beer and cocktail stalls as well as tantalising Portuguese food that will be on sale, including beef and chicken Espetada, Milho Frito, Bolo do Caco and delicious Prego rolls – a famous favourite.
The team at Liquor City Glen Acres promises the day will be 100% family friendly with an outdoor vibe.
Tickets for adults cost R140 a person and for children under 12 R45. The ticket price for adults includes a tasting glass, tasting sample on wines and live entertainment, including traditional Portuguese dancing, traditional piano accordion music as well as DJ Paul on the decks.
The children will have a secure play area at the event with loads of games to keep them entertained, with face painting and a jumping castle.
There will also be lucky draw prize giveaways.
A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to Edenica Private School’s sports department.
Credit cards are welcome on the day.
The festival will be held on March 4 at Edenica Private School at 37 Sim Street, Glen Marais (opposite Glen Balad Mall).
The event will start at 12.30pm and end at 10pm.
