Suspects wanted for house robbery

CLEVELAND – Can you help Cleveland police find these two suspects?

Cleveland police officers urgently need the public’s assistance in nabbing two suspects wanted for questioning in connection with a recent robbery.

Identikit photographs of the suspects have been released by the police.

This after a complainant, who resides on Julius Werhner Street in Bruma, was at home when he heard his wife screaming for help from downstairs. He went to check what was happening and discovered five suspects carrying firearms.

“The suspects took the complainant to his office, locked him inside and took his wife to the bedroom where they instructed her to show them the safe,” said the spokesperson for Cleveland Police Station, Constable Mpho Mashakane.

The suspects allegedly stole jewellery, cameras and a laptop and loaded everything into the complainant’s two cars, a Jetta and a Landover, before fleeing the scene.

“The stolen property was valued at R400 000. A case of house robbery was opened on 24 June 2016, but none of the suspects has been arrested.”

  • Nationality: Zimbabwean
  • Complexion: Dark
  • Build: Tall.

Description of suspect 2:

  • Race: Black
  • Complexion: Average
  • Build: Well built.
