A back-to-school campaign, organised by the Edenvale SAPS, saw its launch on January 11.
The campaign was organised by Sergeant Jacob Mashile, the Head of the Social Crime Prevention Unit at the Edenvale SAPS, and will see members of the SAPS and the community visiting Edenvale high schools and engaging with learners.
Issues such as bullying, cyber bullying and the use of drugs was discussed with the learners.
At the assembly, Sgt Mashile said the learners need to take what was said by the various speakers into consideration.
“You are the pillars of the school,” said Sgt Mashile to the learners.
