Hard work pays off for students

Students from Oakfields College received distinctions for their 2016 results.

The top achievers were:

•  Alessandra Bordonne, who received 15 distinctions out of 16 subjects for fashion design one.
•  Byren Ford, who received six distinctions for all of his subjects while studying sound engineering one.
•  Lauren van Huyssteen was awarded six distinctions out of seven subjects for graphic design two.
•  Taytum Rowe obtained eight distinctions out of nine subjects for make-up and special effects.
•  Shannon Dean received seven distinctions out of eight subjects for fashion design two.
