LATEST: Edenvale CPF backs Roberts

"The safety of the people of Edenvale has always been Colonel Roberts' top priority" - McKenzie.

The Edenvale Community Police Forum (ECPF) has come out in full support of former Edenvale Police Station commander Robbie Roberts, following news of his dismissal from the SAPS.

Solidarity to represent Roberts after SAPS dismissal

“First and foremost, the safety of the people of Edenvale has always been Colonel Roberts’ top priority. He fought a long, hard and often thankless battle in bringing criminals to justice, many times working 20-hour shifts without any complaints.
“The Edenvale CPF supports him 100 percent and we are confident that he will be exonerated and reinstated to his rightful position as the station commander of the Edenvale SAPS,” said the ECPF’s chairperson, Mrs Linda McKenzie.
“A fund, the Colonel Roberts Support Fund, has been set up to raise funds to assist Col Roberts with any costs that may arise. For any further information, contact Oliver Manickum on 071 883 1387 or email manickum@gmail.com,” said Mrs McKenzie.
Residents can also contact Mrs McKenzie on 083 973 7093.
