Head girl at Queens High School, Fatima Diallo achieved three distinctions.
She obtained distinctions in life sciences, geography and life orientation. Diallo is going to study a BSc in physiology and biochemistry at the University of Johannesburg.
“Studying hard and revising past exam papers helped me a lot. My parents have always been supportive. They always encourage me even if I don’t do well,” said Diallo.
She encouraged the matric class of 2017 to work hard and not to wait until the last minute to make their matric year a priority. “They must revise past exam papers and study every day,” she concluded.
