Hugo scoops numerous awards

He also received the Headmaster's Leadership award, recognising initiative, commitment and servant leadership.

St Benedict’s grade 7 learner Hugo Marques received numerous awards at the Preparatory School’s recent prize giving.

He received the Grade 7 Dux Award and the Cilla Nel Bilingualism Trophy for the highest combined average for both English and Afrikaans.

He also scooped the Addison/Agostinetto Trophy for the highest overall mathematics mark for the year.

Hugo also took home the Maxwell Shield ,which is a special award given to a learner who has displayed cooperation, support and responsible behaviour, all the qualities needed for him to lead the Prep School.

His outstanding achievements are testimony to his hard work throughout this year.

The school wished him well as he starts his high school journey next year.
