Senior citizens lunch a success

"The Christmas lunch for Seniors was enjoyed by all,"

Some of the senior citizens at the lunch, raising their glasses to a toast.

The Edenvale Community Centre hosted the Edenvale Senior Citizens’ Christmas lunch on December 7.

The music was supplied by DJ Norman, who delighted the senior citizens with well-known songs.

Ms Filippa Heyneke thanked the committee for a job well done.

She thanked Janet Jewell, Linda Ranwell, Lenie van Heerden, Trish Cockrel, Eve Higgs and all the other committee members and volunteers. Thanks also went to the kitchen staff Elizabeth and Sazi.

“The Christmas lunch for seniors was enjoyed by all,” said Ms Heyneke.

A raffle was also held and the winners were Colleen Adams, Terry Bowman, Anne Prinsloo and Herta Wolf.
