A fun evening for local Toastmasters
The Pirate's of the Caribbean-themed evening gave members of the club the opportunity to dress up.
The Village Toastmaster Club recently held the end of year meeting with a twist on December 7.
The Pirate’s of the Caribbean-themed evening gave members of the club the opportunity to dress up.
“Everyone came dressed; some were unrecognisable,” said the public relations officer of the Village Toastmaster Club, Ms Kira Sparrow.
She said members participated in talks about how they find hidden treasures and what they would do if their pirate ship was attacked.
“Fun was had by all,” said Ms Sparrow.
Members were also awarded certificates for the best dressed for the evening as well as awards for the year.
“We all agreed that the year was a successful one for the club and we all benefited from the programme and made lasting relationships with fellow members,” said Ms Sparrow.
