Murder victim found at dumpsite

CLEVELAND – Police officers are appealing to the public for information about a man who was found dead at a local dumping site.

After Cleveland Police Station received a phone call from a complainant, officers responded and proceeded to a dumpsite in Rosherville on 2 December where they found an unknown man dead.

According to police, the man was lying on the pavement.

“His body was covered with a blanket. The victim had multiple wounds in his chest, back and his forehead. It is thought that the victim was shot elsewhere and dumped at the dumping site,” said spokesperson for Cleveland Police Station, Captain Johan Jordaan.

A case was opened at Cleveland Police Station and they are appealing to the public for any information which may lead to the arrest of the suspects.
