Temporary road closure on Boeing Road East postponed again

An urgent application has been submitted to the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality to request new dates for the erection of the bridge and road closure

 

The planned temporary road closure of Boeing Road East has been postponed again.

Due to weather inclement the contractor, JL Steeldraft, postponed the erection of the New Regent Insurance Pedestrian Bridge that was supposed to be carried out over this coming weekend.

An urgent application has been submitted to the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality in order to request new dates for the erection of the bridge and road closure to be moved to the weekend of December 3 and 4 or alternatively December 10 and 11.

 

“We sincerely apologise again to all parties involved for the inconvenience caused by the postponement of the erection dates.”
