Two people were killed and two others sustained injuries ranging from moderate to critical in a shooting incident at Auret and Main streets in the Jeppe area on the evening of 18 November.
ER24 paramedics, City of Johannesburg and other services attended to the incident.
Upon arrival at the scene paramedics found the patients outside a shop.
Sadly there was nothing that could be done for two of them.
Upon assessment of the third patient it was found that he was in a critical condition. The fourth had sustained moderate injuries. They were treated and transported to hospital for further medical care. The exact cause of the incident is unknown.
Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
