Help find our beloved pet, Toboe

Edenvale – Community works together in finding a lost dog, Toboe.

Many people lost something during last week’s floods.

Edenvale resident Michael Bowen lost his English bull terrier named Toboe during the devastating 9 November floods. He was washed away near Horwood’s Farm.

The community has since embarked on a mission to find Toboe. Despite numerous sightings of similar-looking dogs in the area, Toboe has not been found.

“Thank you guys for making the [Facebook] group and [the] effort to manage our search for Toboe. We are truly grateful. If anyone wants to help distribute flyers, please let us know. We need all the help we can get,” said Bowen. Posts by him, his friends and family have been shared across Facebook as the community rallies behind the search for Toboe.

Bowen said the last time he saw his beloved dog, he was wearing a black studded collar. He said the support from the community has kept him strong. Bowen, with the assistance of the community, has raised R7 000 as a reward for the safe return of Toboe.
