Best of Ekurhuleni winners revealed

Ekurhuleni readers have decided on the Best of Ekurhuleni Readers’ Choice Awards 2016.
The winners were announced on October 27 at Emperors Palace and published in various Caxton newspaper inserts as well as the Best of Ekurhuleni website www.bestofekurhuleni.co.za.
The Best of Ekurhuleni Awards is a barometer of what’s hot, hotter and hottest in Ekurhuleni. Caxton Local Newspapers provides readers with the ballots, which are published in August each year with thousands of votes from 350 homes in Ekurhuleni.
The readers provide the answers in 115 categories, with everything from Best Italian Restaurant and Best Chocolate to Best Cocktail Bar and Best Place to See and Be Seen.
There are also categories for top local people. Readers who voted in the Best of Ekurhuleni Readers’ Choice Awards were entered into a lucky draw and the lucky winners walked away with prizes.
Some of the prizes included a five night stay in Zanzibar or a four-ball game of golf at Serengeti Golf Estate and a weekend away in KwaZulu-Natal.
