The Thembalami Care Centre will once again be blessed by Infinitude Design’s goodwill.
The care centre has enjoyed wonderful support from the Sandton-based company for the past six years, and this year is no exception.
Infinitude’s Ms Samantha Peck will be taking part in her fifth 947 Cycle Challenge on Sunday, November 20. As usual, she and her colleagues will be riding for a purpose – raising funds for Thembalami Care Centre.
Over the past years, Infinitude cyclists have raised in excess of R30 000 a year.
Thembalami is a Rand Aid-associated non-profit organisation. It provides frail care with 24-hour nursing to elderly members of the community. Thembalami means ‘My hope’, which is a true reflection of the new hope and meaning offered to its residents.
“All funds raised over the past five years have been well assigned to assist with designing and revamping certain portions of the interior areas at the care centre in order to further provide both the staff and residents with a renewed sense of hope,” said Ms Peck. She also said that this year, the care centre’s two main dining rooms will be given a new look.
If you are willing to help Ms Peck and the Infinitude team in their quest to make Thembalami a more inviting environment for its residents, contact her on 011 802-6688 or samantha@infinitude.co.za.
