Christmas cards for charity

Printing of Christmas cards has become extremely costly for Charity organisations therefore fewer Charities are fund raising in this manner.

The Edenvale Charity Christmas card kiosk will open from Monday, November 7, in Van Riebeeck Mall, outside Pick n Pay.

Cards on sale will be from five local charities and a small range of calendars will also be available.

The Christmas card kiosk will be open from 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday and from 8.30am to noon on Saturdays.

The final day for card sale will be December 13.

Members of the public are encouraged to visit the card kiosk as it is the only outlet for charity Christmas cards in the area.

However, the kiosk will have a good selection of cards including Afrikaans cards and blank cards which can be used for birthdays or other occasions.

Charities represented include Little Eden and Society for Animals in Distress, plus several others and members of the public are urged to support these deserving organisations at a time of goodwill.
