Create a toy for joy

Toys can be made from any type of material but must be handmade and donated to the club.

The Edenvale Lioness Club has opened the entries for its annual Toy for Joy competition.

Residents who are skilled with their hands are invited to make a toy and enter it into the competition.

Toys can be made from any type of material but must be handmade and donated to the club.

The donated toys will then be distributed to sick and underprivileged children in time for Christmas.

Residents may enter as many toys as they wish but must attach their name, address and telephone number to each toy.

The competition closes on November 15 and judging will take place on November 30.

Lioness Pam Peddie can be contacted on 011 609-3669. Alternatively, contact Lioness Cindy on 071 252 5302 or 082 578 5449 once the toys are complete to arrange delivery.
