Bedfordview and Edenvale residents, as well as motorists, have been urged to take note of the temporary road closure along Boeing Road East.
The planned closure is to allow for the construction of a new pedestrian bridge by Regent Insurance Company Ltd.
Motorists travelling between First Avenue and St Margaret Road will be affected.
A detour route will be implemented on the following dates: Saturday, November 19 from 6am and Sunday, November 20.
The closure will be a full day and night as construction will be underway.
The company has committed to keep disruptions to a minimum, increase traffic management and provide for alternative routes while construction is underway.
