The Friends of Modderfontein Library invites the community to attend a talk and a look into the history of the English Tudors when historian Mr Robert Capper gives a talk at the group’s next meeting.
Mr Robert Capper is an historian whose has given talks to the group in the past. He will speak about the English Tudors on November 1.
According to Ms Dale Cherrington, Mr Capper is a well-loved speaker.
“His descriptions of the lives and loves of Tudor Queens have been entertaining in the past,” said Ms Cherrington.
The event will begin at 9.30am and will cost R20 per person.
Ms Cherrington said due to the current construction near the library, the event will be held at the Thornhill Estate Community Centre.
