Hat walk aims to raise R2-million for charity
The target for this year's event, which will be held in association with Jeppe Athletics, has been set at R2-million.
This year marks the 14th anniversary of the annual charity hat walk in Johannesburg.
It is also the third anniversary of the event in Cape Town.
Balwin Properties prides itself on giving back to the community through this event.
Each year the company strives to donate much-needed funds to the various charities.
The target for this year’s event, which will be held in association with Jeppe Athletics, has been set at R2-million.
The event will take place on December 4 at the Jeppe Quondam Sport Grounds in Bedfordview, at 7.30am.
The event will consist of the five and eight kilometre routes with two water points along the way.
Dogs on leads are welcomed on the walk.
Those wanting to participate in the events are encouraged to wear a Christmas themed hat.
