Two suspects, in Malvern, nabbed for possession of dagga

Two suspects have been arrested by Cleveland police for possession of dagga

Cleveland police have arrested two suspects for possession of dagga at different locations in Malvern on 9 October.

Police spokesperson, Constable Mpho Mashakane said the 32-year-old suspect was spotted when police were patrolling the area. “Police officials were doing normal patrols in the Malvern area when they spotted a suspicious man at the corner of Jules and 35th streets,” said Mashakane.

The police asked to search him. “Upon searching him they found a plastic bag containing dagga. They arrested the 32-year-old suspect,” said Mashakane.

The second suspect was arrested on the corner of Jules and 7th streets. “Police officials were patrolling along Jules and 7th streets, Malvern, when they spotted a suspicious man walking along the street. They asked to search him and upon searching they found dagga in his pocket. The suspect (29) was arrested,” said Mashakane

Both suspects are being detained at the Cleveland Police Station.
