Thornhill Manor’s Fête and Family Day was a resounding success.

The fête took place on October 1.

With 40 outside stallholders selling their wares and 14 stalls held by residents of the Rand Aid retirement village, there was plenty to keep visitors busy.

Thornhill Manor’s complex manager, Ms Esme Erasmus, said the weather was perfect for a day out and throngs of people came, making the months of planning worthwhile.

“Many thanks for the amazing work and donations from the residents. Appreciation also goes to Pick n Pay, Food Lovers Market, Spar, Garden and Builders Express. Also, a very big thank you to all the staff for all their support and assistance,” said Ms Erasmus.

Pupils of the Holy Rosary School gave three performances, which were a huge treat for all who attended.

“Many thanks to marketing manager Ms Kenda Knowles for organising the performances,” said Ms Erasmus.
