Warrant Officer Jimmy Masilela, members of the community and security officers conducted foot patrols and a search of the veld next to the N3 highway on September 28.
“Several suspects were searched and an area of five kilometres was covered.”
Captain Jean Olckers, the spokesperson for the Edenvale SAPS, said the patrols and searches were done to combat robberies and residential burglaries within the sector one and two areas.
“Thank you to all involved.” said Capt Olckers.
