Two men were transported to hospital after falling four metres onto concrete bricks in Bedfordview last Thursday.

The incident took place at a construction site along Kloof Road.

According to Mr Russel Meiring, the spokesperson for ER24, one of the men was seriously injured while the other sustained moderate injuries.

“ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found that both men had already been removed from the initial scene and were being attended to by their colleagues. On assessment, paramedics found that one had sustained numerous, serious injuries while the other man had sustained only moderate injuries,” said Mr Meiring.

He said both men were treated on-scene.

“The seriously injured man was provided with advanced life support intervention. Once treated, both patients were transported to a nearby private hospital for further treatment,” said Mr Meiring.
