Two Holy Rosary pupils compete in the Gauteng Equestrian Finals

Samantha Clack will be representing Holy Rosary School and Gauteng at the National tournament in the Working Hunter Category in October

Samantha Clack and Tana Leigh Scott represented Holy Rosary Primary School and Gauteng Ekurhuleni at the Gauteng Equestrian Finals on August 5 to 9 at the Kyalami Equestrian Park.

Ms Deidre Alcock, marketing assistant at Holy Rosary School said Gauteng is made of five regions and the top 12 riders in each discipline from each region competed against each other.

Samantha came 37th in the show jumping competition round, 9th in the ideal time round and 12th in the working hunter category.

Tana places 23rd and 17th in dressage and took15th place for equitation.

Samantha will be representing Holy Rosary School and Gauteng at the national tournament in the working hunter category.

The nationals tournament will be held between October 4 and 8 at Misty Meadows in Cullinan.
