Thembalami Care Centre gets a new entrance

At Thembalami Care Centre, the welcome is not on the mat, it is at the gate.

The Thembalami Care Centre, which looks after financially and physically vulnerable senior citizens, is sporting a spiffy new entrance.

The centre also houses the Max Ordman Deaf Association.

The new entrance is complete with a guard house and a landscaped garden, all of which makes visitors arriving at the centre feel that much more welcome.

The landscaping was done by Schäffler’s Garden Nursery and Landscaping.

“Indigenous, water-wise plants were used to create a welcoming space that is not only eye-catching but also easy to maintain,” said owner Mr Anthony Schäffler.

Schäffler’s donated its labour free of charge to the NPO.
