Edenvale hosts SPCA 2016 Animal Run

SPCA hosted its fifth annual animal run at Edenvale Checkers Hyper on August 28.

The purpose was to raise money for all the SPCA branches in Ekurhuleni to help them look after the animals in their care.

“The need for SPCA to intervene has never been greater and we cannot cope with the sheer volume of abandoned and abused animals requiring our help.

“The hosting of the animal run is to raise awareness for the SPCA and the plight of animals. All proceeds and donations will be put to very good use,” said the organiser of the event, Mr Chris Badenhorst.
