Making every day Mandela Day

To commemorate former president Nelson Mandela and the sacrifices he made for South Africa and its people, the FinHR Recruitment Agency in Edenvale donated food parcels to the less fortunate.

The hand over took place at Edenvale Methodist Church on July 29.

“The recruitment agency phoned me and asked if they could do something for us as part of 67 Minutes for Mandela Day. I asked them if they could donate food and include some fresh fruit as part of the meal,” said Khanyisa Trust Centre manager, Mrs Chirley Kelly.

“I would appreciate it if more people could come and show their support. Let’s make every day a Mandela Day,” said Mrs Kelly.
