Police officers from Jeppe SAPS arrested five suspects for possession and manufacturing of drugs at Grace Street in Jeppestown on August 7.
This comes after police received a tip-off that the five suspects were manufacturing drugs.
“Upon arrival police found the five men seated around the fire and requested to search them. Upon searching them police found plastic containers containing substances believed to be ‘Thai white’ or ‘cat’ and ‘rock’ drugs and equipment believed to be used to manufacture the drugs,” said Jeppe SAPS spokesperson Warrant Officer Richard Munyai.
The suspects, aged between 22 and 2,9 will appear in court soon.
