Grateful for support

“It is humbling to know that the work carried out by the Society is valued by the community.”

Little Eden would like to extend its thanks to the Edenvale community and surroundings for responding to a call for help with donations towards the society’s second-hand shop.

Mrs Nichollette Muthige, public relations and communications officer for Little Eden said, “We give our heartfelt thanks.”

“We observed a noticeable increase in the quantity of donations received shortly after the article appeared in the local newspapers” said the manager of the shop, Mr Khodani Muthige.

“It is humbling to know that the work carried out by the society is valued by the community,” he said.

“We continue to encourage the community to donate their gently-used unwanted items to the organisation. We sort through donations and select those that are suitable to be used inside the home by the residents and the rest are sent through to be sold through the second-hand shop which currently generates approximately seven percent income towards the care of the special people at Little Eden,” said Mrs Muthige

To donate items contact Little Eden on 011 609 7246 (reception) to arrange for collection or you may drop the items at the shop or at the Little Eden offices in Edenglen.
