Two cars were taken during a house robbery in Hurlyvale on June 21.
“Two suspects, both armed, managed to gain entry to the property,” said Edenvale SAPS communications officer Warrant Officer Jean Olckers.”Residents need to increase vigilance when arriving and leaving home,” said W/O Olckers.
“They must be wary when relaxing, for example on Sundays,” he said.
He said that the crimes of concern are house robberies and burglaries as well as business robberies and burglaries.
W/O Olckers asked the community to report any suspicious behaviour and to make use of the 10111 and 112 numbers to report crimes.
