An investigation into a case of house robbery is under way at Cleveland SAPS.
This comes after a robbery on June 10 at 9:30 when five men took a television and other goods at a premises on Hettie Street, Cyrildene
“The domestic worker was in the bathroom cleaning and conducting her normal duties when five men approached her and told her to be quiet.
“Two took her to a bedroom and tied her up with cables and shoelaces. They covered her face with a duvet.
“They asked for the gate keys. She told them she only had the small gate keys. One untied her feet and took her to her outside room. One suspect was already in her room and taking her TV. One covered her face again with a duvet.
“After a while when it was quiet she untied her hands with her teeth. She went to the neighbours and asked for a phone to report the robbery. When checking in the main house she noticed the Samsung plasma TV, laptop and piano were taken, ” said Cleveland SAPS spokesperson Constable Mpho Mashakane.
