Edenvale SAPS has highlighted crimes of concern and released the names of the sector managers.
According to communications officer Warrant Officer Jean Olkers, the SAPS is concerned about business robberies and break-ins, residential robberies and break-ins and the theft of motor vehicles.
He said that sector one and two both had the highest crime statistics and were the highest crime contributors.
Sector three had the lowest crime stats while the newly formed sector four had the second lowest crime stats out of all the sectors.
“The Edenvale SAPS urges community members to report suspicious behaviour. Be vigilant and make use of the 10111 number,” said W/O Olckers.
Residents should contact the SAPS on 10111 to report crime, or the sector managers.
The sector managers are as follows:
- Sectors one and three managers are Constables Mabitsela and Nematenda.
- Sectors two and four managers are Constables Malapane and Goldblatt.
“We are are finalising new sector numbers,” said W/O Olckers. He said that the contact details will be published once they have been confirmed.
