Whilst there is disruptive construction work being undertaken in Queen Street, Modderfontein, the Friends of the Library have decided to put their monthly book sales on hold temporarily.
At present it would be uncomfortable and unsafe for both shoppers and staff to be at the book sale tables. Regulations do not permit the sale of books inside the library.
Regular customers and visitors are asked to be patient and as soon as conditions improve sufficiently for a sale to be held safely and conveniently in the vicinity of Modderfontein Library, the monthly book sales will resume.
In the meantime the library is operating as usual, open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 5 pm, and on Saturdays from 9am to 1pm.
